Ainsley Daumler

Ainsley Ginette Daümler is an actor, singer and musician (violin). She was born on the prairies and raised in the Rocky Mountains and is a deeply-rooted and wildly vast artist.

At the National Theatre School of Canada, Ainsley honed her craft under some of Canada’s top theatre practitioners, including Greame Somerville, Fiona Byrne, Alisa Palmer, Brad Cook & Tawiah M’Carthy and Marla McLean. She is honoured to have worked on many productions with inspiring artists while there, including  Thomas Morgan Jones’ production of Yerma; and portraying Titania/Hypolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Other credits include: Jeanne d’Arc in Connie Massing’s Fresh Hell (Fire Exit Theatre), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Cappuccino Musical Theatre), and 5 seasons in The Canadian Badlands Passion Play. Ainsley has also appeared in many commercials and had a supporting role in Hello Love, Again (Netflix).

She is also a playwright and proud member of the DGC as a Locations Manager. When she isn’t writing, working on set or acting, she loves spending time in her kitchen baking cookies to share, swimming in clear mountain lakes and romanticizing life.
