Alex Joyce

Alex Joyce (they/them) is a stage manager and production manager from The Goulds, Newfoundland, who leads with values of kindness, diligence, and care. Guided by their passion for the collaborative process and their dedication to sustainable and accessible practices, Alex creates spaces where creativity can thrive.

Graduating from the Production Design and Technical Arts program at NTS, Alex has collaborated with directors Jillian Keiley, Krista Jackson, Rose Plotek, and Cherissa Richards, under the professional guidance of coaches Maria Popoff, Kat Chin, Melanie St. Jacques, Crystal Laffoley, Kathryn Westoll, and Andrea Lundy.

Alex holds a diploma in Stage and Screen Technique from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, where they trained with Pat Dempsey and Jamie Skidmore. Over the past three years, Alex has also worked on Come From Away as an apprentice stage manager, collaborating with Michael Rubinoff and Dianne Woodrow.
