Eiden French

Eiden French (he/him) is an American theater artist from the state of Maine. He is a technical director and designer who is passionate about creating equitable and enriching spaces for himself and others. Also, he is inspired to create art that is accessible to fellow artists and audiences. His experience at NTS as allowed him to learn more about the topics as mentioned earlier and learned to create actionable plans. He has a broad range of experiences as a technician, manager, and designer who has worked across the United States and Canada. During that time, he developed the necessary skills to become a proficient technical manager and was able to hone these skills at NTS.

While at NTS, Eiden has worked on the following selected productions: Verdigris (Sound Designer & Composer) and Revolt. She said. Revolt Again. (PM/TD), The Government Inspector (Video Designer), Deadline (Technical Director), 2024 New Words Festival (Ast. Technical Director), Antigonick (Head Carpenter). Not included in that list are multiple other experiences that enabled him to work and learn to become a better Technical Director and Production Manager. During his time at NTS, he has been coached by Autumn Coppaway, David Surette, Daniel Bennett, Andrea Lundy, Tim Rodriguez, Amelia Scott, Brian Kenny, & Rob Denton.
