Bella Reyes

Bella Reyes is a Canadian-Chilean actor born and raised in Ottawa. She is a trilingual performer (English, French, Spanish) and is excited to explore projects that allow her to dive into the nuances that different languages can offer. She is especially excited by stories that center resilient, driven characters, as well as work that explores themes of transformation, love, and wonder.

While at the National Theatre School of Canada (NTS), Bella had the joy and privilege of working with and learning from notable theatre professionals, including Nancy Benjamin, Jessica B. Hill, Graeme Somerville, Marla McLean, Tim Welham, Ann-Marie Macdonald, and Alisa Palmer, among many others. She is trained in stage combat, including unarmed, rapier, cloak and dagger, and butterfly knife (balisong), under the guidance of Anita Nittoly.

Recent productions include playing Ratcliff/Duchess of York in Richard III directed by Danielle Irvine, Mishka/The Postmaster in The Government Inspector directed by Krista Jackson, and, before graduation, will be diving into the roles of Miss Temple/Miss Ingram in Jane Eyre directed by Jillian Keiley.

Outside NTS, Bella had her first introduction to the world of film/TV on the Amazon Prime show Davey and Jonesie’s Locker. In addition to her love of the stage, she is eager to further explore work in this medium and has a keen interest in diving into the world of voiceover.
