Zoe Daca

Zoe Daca (She/Her) is a stage manager, sound designer, and composer based in Toronto and Montreal. Driven by her dedication to theatrical excellence, Zoe strives to create an environment that fosters creativity and supports individual artistry within the collaborative process.

While at NTS, Zoe has had the privilege of collaborating with directors including Rose Plotek, Cherissa Richards, Krista Jackson, Jonathan Seinen, and Jillian Keiley. She has also received guidance and mentorship from many established theatre artists such as Crystal Laffoley, Neha Ross, Deanna Choi, Richard Feren, and Christine Oakey.

Zoe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Trumpet from McGill University, where she also pursued studies in theatre and philosophy. While at McGill, she trained in classical musicianship with Russell DeVuyst and in theatre production with Corinne Deeley.

During her time at NTS, Zoe worked on Attempts on Her Life (Sound Designer), Richard III (Stage Manager & Sound Designer/Composer), 2024 Creation Project, Deadline (Lighting Designer), Government Inspector (Stage Manager), Jane Eyre (Sound Designer/Composer), and New Words Festival: Salvage the Wrecked (Stage Manager).

Select skills: Logic Pro X, QLab 5, Microsoft Office Suite, Vectorworks 2024, Lightwright, Musicology, and Composition.

Also, she is a part of the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation First Aid.
